Fire Management

  • Designated Fire Pits Only: Please be fire conscious during your stay. Campfires may only be started in designated fire pits or inside BBQ grills. Ensure all fires remain contained and are completely extinguished before leaving them unattended.
  • No Outside Firewood: Transporting firewood from other areas puts our trees at risk for invasive pest infestations. Because of this, outside firewood is strictly prohibited. Locally sourced firewood is available for purchase at the office. Help us protect our local trees!
  • Open Flames Prohibited: Absolutely no lit candles, open flames, or portable stoves are permitted inside RVs or tents.
  • Moving Wood in Missouri: Please visit Moving Missouri Firewood. For more information, visit the Missouri Conservation Rules on Moving Firewood.
